Many retailers are pledging to bring more minority-owned services into their provider wheelhouse. By seeking more minority-owned service providers, retailers have combined “social change and economic savviness” helping boost reputation.
North Star Total Services has a mission to increase the number of diverse individuals having exposure to opportunities within the traditional retail space. This will be accomplished by hiring training and developing a diverse talent pool. We will provide income opportunities and exposure to a wide array of minority talent. We will provide structure and training that will help individuals move into managerial positions, thus enhancing their self-esteem and provide an economic avenue to better the communities we serve.

Kelvin Lawson
Owner & MBE-Certified Founder
Kelvin brings extensive experience in competitive environments with Fortune 50 organizations and has extensive experience in developing and implementing sales strategies in the consumer products, pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
Mr. Lawson worked his way up in retail starting with hands on experience resetting stores and making sales calls store to store.
He sits on the board for FAMU, Truist Bank Northeast Florida Advisory Board, the Boys & Girls Club, and Knots 4 Kids in Jacksonville. When he’s not outdoors golfing, Kelvin enjoys spending free time with his wife and two adult daughters.
